Photo is not just a merely technical art form secondary to other mediums but one that stands on its own. One that can be manipulated like other the mediums with an endless abundance of outcomes. <br />I was particularly drawn to Brassaï’s work for abstractions he sees in nature and his interpretation of Paris environs. My favorite was the one you described and it held my attention more than most in the show. As for the gallery, it was disorientating because it seemed I kept returning to the same room like it was the first time.
